Glossary
Baptism- brings sanctifying grace for the first time. Baptism opens the soul to the flow of God's love, and establishes union between the soul and God.
Baptismal Font- furniture or fixture within the that holds the Baptismal water
God Parents-are people who represents the Church and assumes responsibility for the spiritual education of the infant.
Holy Spirit- a divine influence that is associated with the presence God
Oil of Baptism- gives strength to turn away from evil, temptation or sin.
Oil of Chrism- sign of sealing, with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Sacrament- is an outward action that represents God’s giving His grace on the inside. They are God’s channels for supplying His grace to human beings.
Sacramentality- the God who is invisible, outside time and history and infinite is nonetheless present in the visible, time bound, historical and finite reality of our world. (Wedd, 2015,"Sacramentality" )
